Today’s Kim-ism(tm): Get What You Expect…

This commentary is going to be short and to the point…YOU GET WHAT YOU EXPECT – PERIOD!

You cannot and should not expect anything outside of yourself to bring you want you want.  You should only view others as a vehicle to get what you want in terms of the experience as a whole…other people help you to get to the experience you are seeking or expecting.  Bottom line is that all we want are a collection of experiences that bring us to the sum total of our life …does that make sense?

Simplified:  Expect that only your experiences to be the positive fulfilling experiences that you envision without regard to the people involved in making it happen.

Today’s Kim-ism(tm): Holding On…Letting Go

Deciding when to hold on or to let go can be  a difficult choice, because in both cases there could be an emotional attachment.  So, at what point do you make the call?  How do you choose to hold on or let go?  It is never easy to let go…it is much easier to hold on, but also much more frustrating if the relationship is not fulfilling.

Life is about choices…not about regrets.  Life experience has taught me to accept whatever decision I make, whenever I make them.  And, if for some reason the choice I made doesn’t give me the satisfaction I was seeking…I can always try again.

There is no greater gift than the gift of love.  Most often love is defined by what someone does rather than who someone is.  Love is not tangible.  Expression of love can be tangible, but even with that, there lacks a quality of depth with the true meaning of love and how it is felt from a more spiritual connectedness that can only be described as “wholeness”.

Love expressed in life is, in this author’s opinion, the deepest appreciation of everything that makes life enjoyable and fulfilling.  There are so many people living on the false belief that love is somehow this “thing” that has to attained, when in reality it is simply just being the divine expression of life through you.

Love is life embracing the expression of you.   What a power love – if you would allow yourself to be that gift…

Today’s Kim-ism(tm): I Got Your Back…

To Him:  Through thick and thin, good and bad, right or wrong, I will stand behind you.  I trust you to protect my heart and guide me down the right path.  I rest in the assurance that there is nothing to fear and whatever comes, we will face together.  You go before me to make sure the way is clear.  You take my hand and pull me along with courage.  I stand behind you, because I trust you to lead the way…

To Her:  I can face the toughest challenge, and overcome the greatest obstacle with you behind me.  I protect you with the fierce courage you instill in me.  I keep you near and close to feel your presence, without you I lose my focus.  I lead the way, because I know you always have my back.

Today’s Kim-ism(tm): Neglect is…

There is no greater sadness than to realize that the one person who stuck by your side, encouraged you to be your best, who accepted you for who you really are, and became your best friend – is forever gone…

How did it happen?  When did it happen?  Where did it do wrong?

Answer: 

You didn’t give the same that you received — you were so busy focusing on yourself that you forgot to acknowledge, include, and appreciate.  While you were prioritizing your daily tasks, you forgot to make the one person who has been there for you a priority.  When you went off to build a life for yourself you forgot to build a life with the one person who encouraged you to be your best.

You forgot to return to the source of your inspiration what you were receiving over and over again without hesitation, judgment, or regret – love…attention…appreciation.  You can not get back the time lost; you can not recover the opportunities you missed because you were self-absorbed; you will never know how a simple “thank you” would have change things around…because now your one true love, friend, and source of inspiration, is gone.

You will have to learn a tough lesson, and if fate is kind, you will have a chance again to build a life, share a a life, and appreciate your gift of  life with someone who loves you and you love them.

Speak those things…

Orchestrating words is similar to that of composing a beautiful symphony.  The right notes in the right place on the staff dictate the sound that will be heard when played.  When the composition is completed and played, it is harmonious, beautiful and lovely to hear.  It is uplifting, enjoyable, and worth repeating.

Same goes with the words we speak.  We must be careful to orchestrate them in such a way to always compose a beautiful symphony in our lives of harmonious conditions.  This is not always easy, in fact, it can be downright challenging.  The trick is to be consciously aware of what words we use and what order we choose to use them in.  Are we speaking life into every situation?  Are we purposely seeing the end of what we want and then feeling the power of our words behind that result?  If not, then you have the answer to why you question where you life is, if it’s not where you want.

The good news is that you, YOU, have the power to change the experience of your life, simply by orchestrating your words. 

Create the beautiful melody of your experience by utilizing the creative, Divine power within to speak those things that be not, as though they were.
